Introducing: N9113M

N9113M is the newest addition to the GAMAS Aviation fleet. She's a Cessna 182-P that can run auto fuel - a feature that cuts our operating costs significantly compared to aviation fuel.

Captain flew N9113M back to Tennessee Feburary 3rd to finish the work on her.

We raised enough to cover the purchase of N9113M  and we have a good amount to start on the repairs, but in order to get this girl to Guyana we've still got some work to do.

Then you know that, in a way, you have some huge 5” bore cylinders pumping out 230 hp flying over the jungles of Guyana for God. Happy shopping!

Fueling Steps

Climbing a beautiful dew covered plane to check the wing fuel tank levels in the early mountain morning mist sounds like a serene graceful event. From personal experience it’s not. Shoes sliding one way body mass going the other way. Adding the traction of these steps makes the pilot like a gazelle, mounting the highest peak with grace and honor.

Rear Folding Seats

You got a plane filled with rice sacks, a donated computer monitor, two boxes of diapers, and all the Sabbath school quartiles for the region, so naturally you remove the rear bench seat to make it fit. Now when you land and drop off the supplies you find out that there are two Bible workers that want a ride to the next village, and three ladies who need to get to town to deliver their babies. Yes it has happened, multiple times. Wouldn’t it be nice to have folding seats in the back?

Amount still needed: $0

Total Cost: $3.405

Vinyl floor

It’s a hot muggy rainy day. Your passengers just climb in to your plane with mud all over their feet. You just cleaned the carpets! As you climb out with only the calmed nerves that God can give, you hit turbulence. Within 11 second (yes we have it timed) the rear passenger adds their previously used lunch to the mud. I think hosing it out will make for the happiest pilot.
