Meet our Bible Workers

A vital part of our ministry at GAMAS is to provide logistical air support to bible workers and pastors working in remote jungle villages through out the interior.  Our ministry works very closely with the field workers, providing everything from food, to fuel, to a small living stipend, and literature for evangelistic outreach.  Without the aviation program, this work would be almost impossible to do, since our Bible workers depend heavily on our pilots to bring them the supplies they need to carry the gospel torch into dark communities.

Naaman & Fiona Abrams

This couple is one of our newest and most exciting bible workers.  They are working with the Adventist church in Kopinang Village touching lives in the village, and reaching out to neighboring villages.  Naaman is doing door to door music ministry and personal bible studies.  Praise God the Kopinang Church has been growing under his leadership!  He is currently doing some training in preparation to return to Kopinang Village.

Nansha Gomez

Nansha Gomez is the widow of one of our best former workers.  After the tragic passing of her husband in March of 2015, she has courageously taken the gospel torch, and is faithfully continuing the work of Garnett.   Nansha wants to continue the ministry of her husband and prepare souls for heaven.  James 1:27 says, "Pure and undefiled religion before God... is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble."  For this reason we've committed ourselves to stand with Nansha, and to support her ministry so that the work can be finished and she can be once again reunited with her husband..

Trapeznikov Family

This dedicated family is living and working in Kaikan Village.  They just finished up a large VBS for the surrounding villages.  Alex Trapeznikov is finishing up the construction of the new bible school in preparation for it's launch this coming December.    Please keep this family in your prayers, because they are facing a multitude of major challenges and hurdles in Kaikan.  The devil doesn't want a new bible school to be built.

New Bible Workers Needed

For every one bible worker that we currently have in the field, we need a dozen more, for there are many many more villages that still need the gospel carried to them.  We have identified more bible worker families who are willing to take the step of faith and move into full time ministry, but because they are unable to plant cassava farms to sustain themselves, GAMAS will need to support them every month with a small stipend ($250).  If you would like to sponsor a bible worker, please contact us today.
